Electric vehicles like the Ioniq 5 and EV6 have their battery packs positioned beneath the passenger compartment, significantly increasing their weight compared to conventional cars of the same size, even when unoccupied. The battery pack, located between the front and rear axles, contributes substantial weight, leading to increased vehicle vibration and a compromised ride quality. Driving on uneven surfaces exacerbates this issue, transmitting pronounced road shocks to the interior. Moreover, the additional strain on the suspension system can accelerate wear and tear on shock absorbers and springs.
